Summary:碩士 === 國立虎尾科技大學 === 車輛工程系碩士班 === 102 === Car factories use On-Board Diagnostics-II (OBDII) in the production of vehicles for convenience of the detection. For the convenience of the detection, we use Bluetooth by ISO 15765 Controller Area Network (CAN) for the vehicle diagnostic system in this research. It’s unlike traditional diagnostic instruments those are mostly wired connection. This paper includes two parts, hardware and firmware. The core controller uses STMicroelectronics STM32F103RC chips with the Bluetooth module is classified as hardware. On the other hand, ISO 15765, the main body of this paper, includes the physical layer, data link layer, network layer and application layer belong to firmware. ISO 15765 is used to build the application layer with SAE J1979 diagnostic protocol. After starting the diagnostic instrument with Bluetooth, ECUsim_2000 reads the trouble code and connects from the vehicle CAN networks via Bluetooth. The result shows that this research is not only easy to operate but also portable to the driver who needs real-time status of vehicle. For retrieving trouble codes, we need to feat the needs of protocol for provide users with more complete diagnostic services and driving information.
