In past studies, isolated bidirectional converters with soft-switching features have been widely present, and controlled by phase-shift control or pulse-frequency modulation. In this thesis, a non-isolated bidirectional DC/DC converter controlled by pulse-wide modulation is proposed. The converter is equipped with an active snubber, which can achieve zero-voltage-switching features. The operational principle of the proposed converter is first described, and its analysis and design are then presented.
