Summary:碩士 === 亞東技術學院 === 運籌管理研究所 === 102 === ABSTRACT Aging population has been rapidly increased worldwide, Taiwan that faces aging problem reporting 89% elderly people with chronic disease, which have directly affected national medical resources and burden of family members and patients, therefore the study adopted structural questionnaire design and conducted convenient random survey on family members who aged over 65 with chronic disease to acquire disease and caring method, spiritual support, life assistance, as well as demand and life satisfaction on social support of elderly people with disease in the family. According to the analysis outcome of 313 valid questionnaires, family members reported bigger demand on disease and caring method for elderly people who came up with disease under 10 years and also reported higher satisfaction on social service. Female reported higher demand on disease and caring method while male showed higher satisfaction on medical treatment. Non-rotating caregivers reported higher demand on social support while rotating caregivers reported higher satisfaction on home care and medical treatment. The bigger the economic burden, the bigger the demand on spiritual support and life assistance and the lower satisfaction. Those are subject to elderly people’ sentiment more will report bigger demand on society, spiritual support and life assistance and lower satisfaction. Lastly, reinforcement of disease and caring method learning, acquiring of social service related information by family members and participation in elderly people’s health care are recommended.
