Description
Summary:碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 體育學系運動教練碩博士班 === 102 === In the 90’s, the Taiwanese spinner bowlers got a great performance in the international bowling competition, so Taiwan had the honor to be called “Kingdom of Spinner Bowling”. But with the revolution of the bowling equipment and technology on lane oil condition, our spinner bowlers had difficulty to adjust themselves to the new oil pattern, heavy and sticky, thus they lose their advantage and couldn’t perform as well as before. We failed both in 2006 and 2010 Asian Game, got nothing but frustration. We have come to realize that there were big challenges we have to face in the future competition. But in the meantime, hook bowlers are playing very well, collecting all the medals in the game, making the hook a trend in most countries around the world. What make the hook bowlers successful and how they train are the key we want to know. This study is based on literature review, combining empirical research and theoretical sport science and USBC bowling certified coach experience. We expect that through this study we can provide some ideas to enhance our bowler performance. The study topics includes: (1) The bowling knowledge (2) The hook skill (3) Physical training on bowling (4) Mental training on bowling (5) The training program. According to the research, we understand how hook skill developed and how elite bowler trained by sport science method. All of those information can be a blueprint of our bowling training program development. Look forward to one day Taiwanese bowlers will beat other strong bowling countries and stand on the winner stage.
