The researcher analyzed the differences in active aging and needs of reemployment of the respondents with different personal background, and examines the correlation between the two among older adults. The study uses survey method and recruited older adults who were 55-year old and above from senior learning institutions (including senior citizens learning centers and community colleges) at Taipei City and New Taipei City in 2014. A total of 528 valid questionnaires were collected. Research data was analyzed with descriptive statistics analysis, independent sample t test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression. The findings are as follows: 1. Significant differences were found between “work patterns after retirement” in older adults’ active aging (p< .05). 2. Significant differences were found between “marital status,” “work status,” “productive activities,” and “work patterns after retirement” in needs of reemployment (p< .05). 3. Significant statistical correlations were found between older adults’active aging and needs of reemployment (r=.21, p< .05). 4. Significant predictive power was found in learning aspect in active aging when older adults’ educational status were below junior high schools and work patterns were paid work (R2 = .35). Last, the researcher provides reflects and suggestions to older adults, employers and government agencies based on research. Shun-Tzu Lin 林舜慈 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 206 zh-TW
