We view an action as a 3-step composition: a starting pose, an ongoing movement, and an ending pose. We use a bottom-up approach to parse MDL documents to recognize the defined actions. Our implementation can recognize many complex motions. Since the motions are defined in external files, the program source becomes simplified and more flexible.
