China, EU, U.S. and Taiwan are important trading partners for each other and their trade relations are very close. As a result, trade disputes arise and trade remedy measures are sometimes adopted. The key issues of their disputes always relate to China as a non-market economy status. The commitment of China to joint WTO (i.e. China is regarded as a non-market economy status) will expire in 2016. After the expiration of its commitment, will the other WTO members reduce their trade remedy measures because of china’s a market economy status? Or will they continue to adopt other relevant norms in order to keep their trade protection purposes? This question is the motivation of this study. Changes in the global economic and trade environment will lead to nations’ reform of trade policy and revision of regulations. This study focuses on understanding the changes of the revised anti-dumping norms and reviewing standards applied in real cases of the EU, U.S. and Taiwan in recent years for grasping the possible future development of relevant norms and practices. After the discussion of each chapter in this study, conclusions could be reached in three ways: differences on norms of non-market economy, differences on the practical operation of the non-market economy and the possible treatment accorded to China after 2016. Finally, some suggestions and recommendations could be provided to Taiwanese businessmen and the competent authorities of Taiwan by analyzing the relevant norms, the practical operation practices and the possible treatment accorded to China by Taiwan after 2016. 李貴英 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 119 zh-TW
