Our country actively promotes the people's sports and improves the sport environment; however the performance of health-related physical fitness has not significantly improved. This study is aimed to discuss physical education programs’ influence to the health-related fitness development of the elementary school students. The participants of this study are fifth-grade students in New Taipei City. There are total 20 students joining this exercise intervention training. All the participants have to take the tests of health-related physical fitness both before and after the training. The data of the tests are examined through paired-samples t-test. The followings are the outcome of this study: The exercise intervention improves the elementary school students' flexibility, explosive strength, fitness of muscle and cardio-pulmonary endurance evidently. This study indicates that the exercise intervention promotes the physical fitness and provides teachers' reference in the physical education curriculum design. To the students, this training also helps them having the regular exercise habits and enhancing their health fitness targets.
