Summary:碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 兒童與家庭服務系 === 102 === The purpose of this study was to understand the psychological capital and happiness of current situation of elementary school students, and to identify different perceptions by analyzing various background variables, and finally to explore the relationship between elementary school students’ psychological capital and happiness. This study was conducted by using questionnaire survey method, by which 412 elementary school students in Kaohsiung were selected as the research subjects. The research tools were the Psychological Capital Questionnaire and the Psychology Well-Being Questionnaire. The data were statistically analyzed by descriptive statistics, one-samples t test, independent-samples t test, one-way ANOVA and structural equation modelling. The results of this study were outlined as follows: 1. The levels of psychological capital of elementary school students are from mid to high level. The elementary school students’ performance of optimism is highest while resilience is lowest. 2. The levels of happiness of elementary school students are from mid to high level. The elementary school students’ performance of positive relations with others is highest while self-acceptance is lowest. 3. There’s no obvious difference among the elementary school students in different age, sex and family structure in psychological capital and happiness. 4. The elementary school students'' psychological capital has a significantly positive effect on happiness. Major findings of this project were discussed and some suggestions were put forward for future research.
