碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 企業管理系 === 102 === The study is the technical paper transformed from the project of industry-academic cooperation, which uses Competency Interview and DACUM to investigate the construction of competency model for the F&B servers in tourist industry so as to programme its training packages. The past studies on competency respectively explore the interactions of competence for the hospitality industry, staff training and occupation development; nevertheless F&B servers have not been looked into adequately. The study by the extension of the competency model for the F&B servers combines the interviews with practitioners to not only form its training packages but also design its learning maps. Because of the nature constraint on the industry, however, the whole picture about the competency fails to be completely rendered.
