Since biotechnology is a newer technology, there are many perceptions people tend to have about it. In some cases it might be negative or positive. So this study is aimed at identifying the factors that affect the consumer’s behavior when buying the biotechnology food. After identifying the factors that affect consumer behavior, a questionnaire was developed based on the literature. The questionnaire was designed in English and then translated to Chinese .It was distributed to 201 Taiwanese consumers around Tainan and Kaohsiung. Factor analysis was used to analyze the data in a SPSS program.
