Description
Summary:碩士 === 東海大學 === 化學工程與材料工程學系 === 102 === γ-Butyrolactone(GBL) is a fine intermediate in chemical industry. It can be used as solvent, extraction agent, and absorbent and widely used in petrochemicals, fibers, spices, pesticides, and medicine. It has attracted increasing attention , because of its wide uses and the economic value of its products. This thesis uses Cu/SiO2 catalyst and Cu-Pd/SiO2 catalysts for producing γ-butyrolactone from hydrogenolysis of diethyl succinate in a packed bed reactor, and optimum reaction conditions were investigated experimentally. The results show that of temperature and pressure are the main factors affect the γ-butyrolactone yield. The conversion was low at low temperature and pressure, the yield of by-product (butanol) was high at high temperature and pressure. The best yield of γ-butyrolactone was obtained at an optimum temperature and pressure. At 220℃and 300psi the maximum GBL yield obtained was 67% and selectivity was 81.9% using 25g Cu-Pd/SiO2 catalyst. At 230℃and 300psi the maximum GBL yield obtained was 60% and selectivity was 85.1% using 25g Cu /SiO2 catalyst. At 230℃and 300psi the maximum GBL yield obtained was 71.5% and selectivity was 83.3% using 60g Cu /SiO2 catalyst. The Cu/SiO2 catalyst and Cu-Pd/SiO2 were characterized with FE-SEM, EDS, BET, XRD, and TPR.
