The long term targets of an architect office are to operate and create a quality architectural space, to contribute to the society and to make stable profit on a long term basis. Firstly, this paper is going to study the direction of the operation, type and size of the landlord from the point of a small architect office. The analysis shows that the optimum target of a small architect office is to develop to be a big scale architect company. “Seizing The White Space” indicates that the small architect office play a critical role in the relation chain between the landlord and customers. The small architect office not only accomplish the customers’ value claim indirectly, but also complete the landlord’s value claim directly. It increases the profit target of the developing project for the landlord as well. The core competence ability of a small architect office assists the landlord making profit through his quick, immediate, fully, accurate services. It creates value for the landlord and itself at the same time, and also provides a long term stable operation.
