In this thesis, we propose a new streaming system to provide a live streaming video. People can use their iPhone/iPad to access the Web of an HTTP live streaming server. Nearby users can share the same video via Bluetooth to create a collaborative video streaming environment. Further, we also build a real-time environment test-bed to verify the performance of the proposed method. The experiment results show that the proposed method for live video keeps the continuous playback, low buffer requirement, and low energy consumption.
