Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 互動媒體設計研究所 === 102 === With the development and popularization of technology, a new form - digital performing arts - is created, which is a combination of visual and musical elements. However, pre-recorded videos cannot work synchronously with the music performance, which causes not only the pre-production being complicated and more time consuming, but also requiring more manpower for additional control and operation under the circumstance that the traditional big equipment is not easily mobile, thus there will be certain risks for the performers due to multiple division of labor. Also the performers may not be able to grasp the show quality, which then affects the performance outcome. As a consequence, the research is aimed at setting up a tablet operation system for DVJ performers, which can control the musical and visual effects in real time, together with the lighting and air blower to build up an interactive show platform, so as to enhance and to extend the empathy, but not to be limited by the fixed timing sequence of the traditional pre-produced video or music to get more free creative space. The creation utilizes literature collection, related case studies and analysis on expert interviews to conclude the design principles for an interactive audio-visual system. Based on the theory and foundation of these principles, it creates and plans an interactive DVJ performing system, to practically develop the interactive DVJ performing application for mobile devices. The creative achievement was made public in the 2014 New Generation Design Exhibition.
