The synthesis, characterizations and mesogenic properties of these compounds which are 3Cn-ehnom、2Cn-ehnom、1Cn-ehnom is reported.The elemental analysis and spectroscopic (NMR,Mass,PXRD)have been employed to investigate these compounds. The mesogenic behaviors of three series of oxamide-core ligands(3Cn-ehnom、2Cn-ehnom、 1Cn-ehnom, n=16,14,12)were discovered by polarized optical microscope(POM), differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), and powder X-raydiffraction(PXRD) in variable temperature.
