It aims to rethink the functions of metaphor, then to exploit the metaphors in the title of the play, in the meeting scene, in those violent, vulgar, organic terms, and in the plight of the characters. We also focus on the Chinese translation of the play, since, like metaphor, translation is not a simple transfer, but the continuation of a process of meaning creation.
