| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北藝術大學 === 新媒體藝術學系碩士班 === 102 === In this thesis I attempted to combine art with technology, through creating interactive installation explaining the mood and the reaction to our temper. This proposal will profile “external affect” and “internal mood” corresponding to “Fountain Mind & Sound Dialog” by the art works of “Fountain Mind” and “Sound Dialog”.
“Zen Fountain” is a multi-user interactive artwork which conveyed the extrinsic circumstance included much violence and conflict. By the art work, striving for meditation to let my violent mood transfer to peaceful status.
“Listen to me” described that I commenced creating from the emotion. Attempting to create the work which produced severe noise caused people''s attention. The installation exerted itself to produce noise and offensive hit, as though protesting and complain to the people around. In the severe situations, I hope that someone can hear many distinct noises from different materials behind the severe noises, as if twittering conveyed the sincere words. The art work not only explains what I thought but also lets me take the defense mechanism to the things and the people around me. Simultaneously, the artwork tries to cause people''s attentions and to make the opportunity to present myself.
These two artworks in this thesis mainly integrated many techniques such as interactive technology, water media, public art, electronic chips, automatic control and analog to digital signal processing, etc on. Through integration of different techniques, I made two artworks by various and creative in interactive system and sound installation. The experiences is highly profitable to explore and research. I attempted to apply the technology to the art through several materials, and furthermore explain the change of my mood to confer on "Fountain Mind & Sound Dialog”.
“Zen Fountain” and “Listen to me” are the main topics in this thesis demonstrated my conditions and aspirations in recent period by means of the two works.
