This study aims to investigate the current awareness and attitudes of vocational high school students with disabilities towards food safety, how disabled students with different backgrounds vary from each other on food safety issues, and explore the relevance between students’ awareness and attitudes towards food safety in terms of their awareness and attitudes towards food safety. The results indicate that: (1) Degrees of vocational high school students with disabilities have on food safety awareness and food safety attitude are above average(2.80< <3.39). (2) 91% of students have taken the course that they do pay more attention on the symbol of safety, shelf life and ingredients; however, they do not seem to concern much about tainted products. (3) As vocational high school students with disabilities are well aware of food safety, they are more concerned about food safety(p<.001). (4) Compared to male students, female students have a better understanding of food safety(p<.001), but no difference is found in grade variables(p>.05). (5) Differences are found among disabled students with different course experiences and life experiences(p<.05), meaning course and life experiences help improve food safety awareness. (6) Compared to male students, female students are more concerned about food safety attitude(p<.001), but no differences are found in grade and course variables(p>.05). (7) Compared to disabled students with average life experience(p<.05), students with broad life experience are more concerned about food safety attitude.
