Description
Summary:碩士 === 大同大學 === 機械工程學系(所) === 102 === Smart Robotic Carrier is an electric car which can help operators to accomplish task with autonomous mode、semi-autonomous mode or manual mode more efficiency, with less effort and risk through the helping of computer and machine. Mars rover - Curiosity、Google car and autopilot system on the general aviation, those examples above are practical applications in real life. The purpose of this project is to developing a smart robotic carrier which can be operated with autonomous mode、semi-autonomous mode and manual mode. This thesis is focus on the development of control systems of this carrier. The control logic and UI (User interface) are developed by LabVIEW 2009 (Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench 2009), which will be the platform of communication between operator and carrier. Computer will be the core of the whole control system of this carrier, and the MCU (Micro control unit) PIC18F4520 will manage the power steering system. This carrier use “Drive by Wire” as intermediary between controllers and actuators, replacing traditional mechanisms with electric motor to simplify the mechanisms and reduce costs. The carrier acquires signals of steering、throttle and brake pedals which are coming from image identifier of camera or commands transferred from operator through the internet, combining the real atmosphere conditions to compute and output signals to actuators, help operators to accomplish tasks.
