Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 企業管理系 === 102 === The rise of the environmental concerns in the world has put pressure on companies to rethink their policies towards green innovation. Especially, it is an imperative issue to Taiwan’s semiconductor manufacturing industry due to causing severe pollution and playing a key role in the global semiconductor industry. Thus, this study aims for investigating the critical factors affecting the adoption of green innovation from semiconductor manufacturing companies’ perspective. Based on the results of literature reviews, the Diffusion of Innovation Theory and Technology-Organization-Environment framework was used as the theoretical foundation of this study, and the TOE framework consisting of eleven variables, include relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, trialability, observability, organizational culture, organizational resource, internal stakeholder commitment, environmental regulation, impact of customers and impact of competitors. A survey questionnaire was administered to collect data from 72 employees in the semiconductor manufacturing companies. Using logistic regression analysis to test the hypotheses, the results found that complexity, organizational resource, internal stakeholder commitment, and impact of competitors are significantly associated with the adoption of green innovation. Finally, theoretical and practical implications from the findings are also provided.
