The first chapter is the introduction of sputtering methods and research motivation. The second chapter describes the experimental methods and procedures. The third chapter is the patent retrieval procedure , and the retrieval results were analyzed. “Thinklear” software is the tool to draw. The fourth chapter introduces the company has research significance on sputtering technologies and mastering on intellectual property management. The fifth chapter is to select the cases for study base on significance of patent applications. Configuration and charts are applied to draw the comprehensive analysis in our study for comparison and extraction of the knowledge on intellectual property management in key global companies. The final chapter we provide suggestions for companies who deal with sputtering technologies regarding intellectula property portfolio management, aiming for better protection of innovative research and development.
