Student: Zhe-Hong Dong Advisor:Dr. Yueh-Ysen Lin Submitted to Executive Master of Business Administration Program College of Management, Yuan Ze University ABSTRACT Filling out the preference card of university priorities is a significant decision during life. Since “college life” is not only the boundary between the learning stage and the working stage, but also the turning point of different identities for most people, choosing a suitable college is spontaneously associated with their future career and selection of occupation. While making the choice, the complexity of consideration for multiple purposes makes it much harder to make a decision. Besides personal judgments, human behaviors also have much to do with the influence of environment. However, it’s indispensable for senior high students to make a decision on the priorities of universities and departments. Hence, the study is to research into the influence of different events. Yet, it’s still limited due to many variables involved, so the study only focuses on the three aspects: personality, family, and society. By interviewing six third-year senior high students in a high school in Taoyuan county with qualitative research method, the study induces students’ thinking tendency and variables while making decisions, expecting to indicate the truth.
