| Summary: | 碩士 === 元智大學 === 資訊工程學系 === 102 === The goal of this thesis is to implement a smart home system in order to enhance convenience and safety of household life. The smart home system includes remote control to prevent unnecessary energy consumption, and to achieve home multimedia entertainment with low-cost design simultaneously. The smart home system is implemented on Raspberry Pi and Linux platform.
In this thesis, Raspberry Pi is first introduced, followed by the software system and the method for development, including the communication between software development and Raspberry Pi GPIO ports. Then the design concept of the smart home, the software application and the communication between software and hardware modules are described. Finally, experiments were conducted to evaluate the performance of the implemented smart home system.
