Description
Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 電機工程學系 === 102 === In the recent years, technology of communication, GPS (Global Positioning System),and Vehicular Electronic grows mature, and therefore it push America, Japan, and Europe to develop Vehicular Communication Technologies. However, because DSRC (Dedicated Short-Range Communication) standards are not the same in each country, there are different coding method. In America and Japan, Manchester code is used. In Europe, FM0 code is applied. So we develop a hardware reutilization based FM0/Manchester codec, which integrates the encoding and decoding hardware of FM0 code and Manchester, by BLRO (Boolean-Logic Reutilization Oriented) principle to pursue higher hardware reutilization rate and therefore save the area cost. Simulation result reveals our FM0/Manchester codec designed by BLRO principle not only gets 100% hardware reutilization rate but RBLRO Encoder has efficient performance on device-efficiency compared with existed works. The tape-out of the proposed FM0/Manchester codec is realized by TSMC 0.18-um 1P6M CMOS technology.
