Description
Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 經營管理碩士班(企業管理與服務科學學程) === 102 === The environmental issue and government policy persuade more people transport with their bicycles, bicycle also changes while our living style changes. Stand from this aspect, researcher intend to study bicycle innovation opportunities from market demand and industry technologies supply. Innovation measurement has aroused attention in academia and practitioners alike. In this study, the author combined the NeXT (Need based on Conflicts between Trends) model and fuzzy measurement to propose a novel measurement method for abstracting innovation opportunities. To test the method, we used the method to access the gaps of technologies and market demands of the “bicycle innovation” for a bicycle industry in Taiwan. As the result of the practice, we extracted major conflict points and discover bicycle product and manufacture will become more intelligence. Furthermore, bicycle will be more customization and personalization for different user segment. The results can be an important reference for the product innovation of the bicycle industry players, i.e., manufacturers and assemblers or bicycle brands. Furthermore, we postulate that this method can be applied not only to extract gaps of industry’s new product design but also to explore more co-innovation opportunities.
