Such as the Kaohsiung gas explosion, gas explosion point was in sewer, streets were destroyed. Such a powerful gas explosion impact, not only caused heavy casualties with passers-by, traffic collapse, but also the direct impact to the building, the residents suffered heavy casualties. Structural safety has been destroyed, and even disaster relief firefighters were also sacrifice. This study investigated the sophisticated gas explosion disaster prevention program, reviewed the relevant gas explosion disasters, public danger and other related disasters through literature, field surveyed Kaohsiung gas explosion incident location, analyzed hazards reason by case study, through interviewed with experts, then it can be aggregated via questionnaire to get sophisticated gas explosion disaster prevention program. In this study, AHP (analytic hierarchy process) was used to evaluate gas explosion disaster prevention countermeasure program. In connection with hazard reasons, pointed out the best improvement plan. Hopefully, by using underground pipeline inspection, maintenance, replacement, build management system, as the basis for future maintenance guide. The sophisticated gas explosion disaster prevention program can be taken as a reference in the future.
