碩士 === 中華科技大學 === 土木防災工程研究所在職專班 === 103 === Abstract Rapid economic growth with rapid metropolitan development that cause the diversity and concentration use of land area had brought up the urgent need of public transportation development in recent year. It is imperative for our government to build a mass rapid transit (MRT) system to alleviate traffic in metropolitan area. However, as millions of people taking MRT as their daily commute system nowadays, the need of public safety disaster rescue and evacuation mechanism have become the first priority . This article is completed by method of literature review, site survey, case studies, interviews, and field exercises. By taking XinZhuang MRT stations as an example, we hope to work out the best solution for MRT fire rescue plan for future reference. 　　　The results show that through the fire simulation, the MRT can build a complete disaster rescue plan. When the XinZhuang MRT company personnel can handle first time emergency treatment of disaster, the back-up fire units join the rescue and relief. To exhaust fire smoke and heat effectively, increase the evacuation time and rescue personnel to safe rescue. Hopefully, this research can make disaster losses and personal injury to a minimum, in order to guarantee sustainable public transport system.
