碩士 === 中華大學 === 運輸科技與物流管理學系碩士班 === 103 === The Statistics Office of Ministry of Transportation noted that Taoyuan commuter journeys,private motor transport equipments accounted for the highest proportion of all close to 80％ .This status is an important factor in cousing traffic congestion,carbon emissions surrounding the school district .Providing elementary school children safe trip to school is an important issue of education . In addition to providing safe walking to school , good school bus route planning and providing district bus to bus station can reduce parents’steam locomotive parents transfer and achieve energy efficiency by reducing carbon emissions . This study plans three school district bus routes for students who live more then 500M away from the school . Each district bus goes in cycle along its route , and stops at city bus stations . In consideration of safity and costs . there are no U-turns for the bus driving , and there is no need to cross roads for students getting on and off the bus . Altogether 434 students are willing to take the three bus routes of this plan . This way , each years ,76982 km driving distance cam be reduced , 3293 to 3873 liters gasoline can be saved , and 6286 to 7752 kg of carbon dioxide can be reduced from carbon emission , equivalent to 600 trees planted . This line of research planning and design of the actual model, available for reference in the future to other school districts route planning .
