The MICE industry has labor-intensive features which require lots of personnel to maintain business operations. Recruiting qualified and talent person is no doubt significant to the MICE industry. As a result, exploring factors that influence the intentions pursuing to MICE careers has become an important issue. In general, individual cultural intelligence may affect one’s judgment and points of view, and personality traits often affect individuals’ behavior patterns. These are two determinants to human beings when making decisions; however, very few studies exploring the impact of cultural intelligence and personality traits on intentions pursuing to MICE careers. Therefore, the study takes junior and senior college students as research subjects to investigate the impact of cultural intelligence, personality traits, and demographic variables on intentions pursuing to MICE careers. Findings of the study indicate that the cognition dimension of cultural intelligence has significant positive effect on intentions to work in the MICE industry. Regarding the personality traits, extraversion and agreeableness personalities both reveal significant high willingness to work in the MICE industry.
