National Development Council also forecasted the aging population in Taiwan would rise to 14%, to become an aging society country, which was delimited by World Health Organization. The causes of aging population not only were embedded in the advancement of our medical and health technology, which prolongs the average lifespan to 75.96 year-old years for male and 82.47 year-old years for female, but also rooted in the decline of fertility ratio. The most direct challenge for aging society is to take care of the elderly, in the past, the elderly were looked after by feminine, the participation of labor force of Taiwan women however has gradually elevated. Additionally, the residential patterns have changed either, the living arrangement of three generations had become the core family style. Albeit the investigations demonstrated the elderly was pleased to live in a familiar environment, and our welfare policies for the elderly were become accessible, humanity, and community-oriented from the old type of institutional care orientation, there were still space to ameliorate the promotion of local aging policies such as the implementation of aging policy and the coordination of relevant apparatuses. It is the truth that the long-term care for the elderly is imperative, to cope with the diverse needs of the elderly,our governments must to cooperate with civil society and relevant civil organizations to construct domesticated, institutional, and community-oriented care services to provide multiple needs. The missions for the principal of long-term care institution are using managerial techniques and business strategies to create new foundations and pursue sustainable business. The problems of business now contain deficiency of human resources, imbalance between supply and demand, restrictions of laws and regulations, pressures of finance, raise of consumer awareness, and dissatisfaction of services. As the managers all the problems which came fram working stress, such as human resource management, service quality promotion, marketing management, and financial management. The purpose of this research is to discuss the working stress of the principal of long-term care institution and its influential factors. By using cross-sectional study,there are 63 principals or managers of long-term care facilities are collected. The structural questionnaire was used in the research, and the composition of questionnaire embraces personal information, institution characters, and working stress scale. By using SPSS soft ware all data are alse analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis, independent t-test, and one-way ANOVA. In the section of personal information, the results represent that people who has been trained over 20 hours got higher score in work control and workplace justice, these two structures demonstrate lower working stress. In the section of institution character, accidental event has higher score in mental load at work, physical load at work, and job insecurity, these structures demonstrate higher working stress. Depending upon the results, our governmental apparatuses, experts and scholars have to coordinate to elaborate on their measures in order of how to prevent accidents in the LTC facilities.
