| Summary: | 碩士 === 中臺科技大學 === 文教事業經營研究所 === 103 === This research aims to explore the relationship between Sindingban festival of Dongshih and local Hakka cultural industry. Furthermore, to see whether the festival activities benefit the inheritance of local Hakka culture and the promotion of the industry.
The findings of the research outcome are: In terms of the status, the Sinding of the temples has been liven up by more and more fund which has been putted in by the public sector after Sindingban festival of Dongshih was transformed from a Hakka custom to one of the twelve major festivals. In terms of the culture value, the festival activities that make the youth people understand more Hakka culture have attained the purposes of culture reservation and inheritance. The activities have promoted the ethnic identity, and even become an origin tracking down journey for the new inhabitants. As the raise of the community awareness follows, many home kitchens have also become the ban manufacturing factories. In terms of the influences on local Hakka cultural industry, although the public sector had suggested the owners of traditional industry to plan the direction which can be combined with Sindingban festival in the future, the breakthrough point of the culture development has not been found. Therefore, it is still not doable to take the ban production as an unique industry of Dongshih. Finally, although Sindingban festival of Dongshih possesses the effect of driving local industry, it can not become a notable local Hakka cultural industry. The scheme of cultural festival reappearance proposed by the researcher is aimed at the dilemma.
