Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 教育研究所 === 103 === This study was aimed to explore the current state of students’ self-efficacy, trust and academic emphasis in Taoyuan city, and to confirm the academic optimism being the latent structure of these three variables. The research method was questionnaire survey. The valid return rate was 91% and 594 students participated in the study. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation and structural equation modeling. The results were as the following: 1. Students’ self-efficacy, trust and academic emphasis were at above average level. 2. There were significant differences among three grade years in terms of self-efficacy, trust and academic emphasis. 3. There were significant correlations among self-efficacy, trust and academic emphasis. 4. The latent construct of academic optimism was consisted of self-efficacy, trust and academic emphasis was validated.
