Summary: | 碩士 === 健行科技大學 === 工業管理系碩士班 === 103 === Nowadays, when using squat toilet of public places, long-squatting easily lead to extremity tingling, get up with difficulty and other issues. So for older people with mobility problems are easy to cause inconvenience to use. Therefore, this study uses EMG to investigate the effects of different tilt angles squatted on the thigh and calf muscle force. The experimental data found that there is a significant difference in the thigh with a 17- degree angle 7. Especially there is a significant difference in the angle 7 those aged over 50 years.
Furthermore, we also found that subjects who force points are placed on the thigh, and calf on various tilt angles floor, a small force than planes, so the reasoning at the time of squatting, the focus is on the leg force on the floor and lean thigh and calf muscles help to reduce the force. Therefore, would be more in line with human factors design, applicability and convenience when using squat toilets.
