All the materials were analyzed by chi-square test and Frequency allocation. The main results in this paper are as follows: 1. Up to 91% of the students are able to access computers and the Internet at home which are mainly placed at living rooms and dining rooms. 2. "Looking for fun and entertainment" is the principal motivation and purpose of surfing the Internet, and they spend major time on "social networking websites." 3. Students use computers 1 to 2 times every week; in general, they spend more than 1 hour, less than 3 hours per day on weekdays and weekends. 4. Around 33% of the students had experiences of becoming cyberbullying victims, 21% of them had experiences of being cyberbullying perpetrators; furthermore, there are near 17.6% of the students who had experiences of being victims and perpetrators at the same time. 5. Most people acted as "witnesses" in cyberbullying, around 42% of cyberbullying victims never knew identities of perpetrators; around 67% of victims and 70% of the perpetrators admitted having experiences of being cyberbullying in social networking websites. 6. Three most common patterns of cyberbullying are "cyber fighting," "defaming," and "harassing." 7. On holidays, males spent much more time on the Internet than females per day and "looking for fun and entertainment" is the principal motivation and purpose. The higher of the Internet using frequencies, the longer the using time, the chances of being cyberbullying are higher. 沈群英 2015 學位論文 ; thesis 136 zh-TW |
