Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 電機工程學系 === 103 === This thesis discusses the structure of complementary split-ring resonators (CSRR), and uses it as a defected ground structure (DGS) for ground plane of an antenna. By using the slot of CSRR to increase the current return path, and change the current distribution at different frequencies. In addition, DGS will provide extra inductance and capacitance effects. Those inductance and capacitance will help shrink the size of antenna. This thesis also presents an extraction method for inductance and capacitance of (CSRR) on ground plane by using CSRR as a defected ground structure (DGS) of a microstrip line. By using full wave solver, HFSS to simulate S21, then extract the component values by loss-pass filter (LPF) formula.
