Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 教育專業發展研究所 === 103 === ABSTRACT The main purpose of this study was to explore the differences among personality traits, Internet addiction and interpersonal relationships from different background variables of junior high scholl students,to discussed the correlation among personality traits, Internet addiction and interpersonal relationships, and to analyzed the prediction abilty of personality traits to Internet addiction as well as the prediction abilty of personality traits and Internet addiction to interpersonal relationships. This study used a questionnaire survey conducted studies to junior high grades seven, eight, nine to convenience sample of 20 classes, 623 students as the object of study. Subjects impose Internet addiction scale, personality traits scale, interpersonal relationships scale, collected data SPSS18.0 statistical software for statistical analysis tools used for descriptive statistics, independent sample t test, One-Way ANOVA analysis of variance, Pearson correlation, multivariate regression analysis,canonical correlation analysis. The results were as follows: 1. There were significant differences between genders in "nervousness" and “goodness” dimensions of personality traits. The different Interent seniority, average weekly online hours, the most students used Internet activities has significant differences on Internet addiction. 2. There were significant correlation between personality traits and interpersonl relationships,Internet addiction has significant correlation with the network relationships. Internet addiction and the real relationship does not have significant correlation. 3. There was negative prediction ability for “goodness” of personality traits to Internet addiction. For “neuroticism” and “opennes” of personality traits, there was positive prediction ability to Internet addiction. 4. There was positve prediciton ablity for “withdrawal” ,"social and health" of Internet addiction to Internet relationships. But for “compulsive" and “ tolerance”, there were negative prediciton ablity to Internet relationships. 5. There were positve prediciton ablity for “extraversion” ,"neuroticism" of personality traits to Internet relationships. And for "extraversion”, "neuroticism“ and “goodness ” of personality traits , there was positive prediciton ablity to real interpersonal relationships. 6. Finally, the study provides suggestions for teachers, parents and counselos and future research according to the findings.
