The study adopted the questionnaire survey procedure. This study was based on kindergarten teachers in Taichung by applying the questionnaire on purposive samples and selected 290 kindergarten teachers as samples. This study adopted two scales, including ' The Personality of The Kindergarten Teachers In Taichung Questionnaire' and ' The Teaching Effectiveness of The Kindergarten Teachers In Taichung Questionnaire ' . After collecting the data, analyze the data by t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson product moment correlation and multiple stepwise regression analysis and other statistical analysis. The results as followings: 1. The personality and current teaching effectiveness of the kindergarten teachers in Taichung tends to be positive incidence. 2. The personality that the teacher with longer seniority tends to be positive comparing with the one with short seniority in Taichung. 3. Among the kindergarten teachers of different background variables in Taichung city, there is not much difference in teaching efficiency. 4. There are positive correlations between the personality and teaching effectiveness of the kindergarten teachers in Taichung. 5. The personality of the kindergarten teachers in Taichung can predict the teaching effectiveness , and friendliness is more predictive. Finally, according to the results of the research, we recommend the education administration authority to establish a mechanism to enhance personality and teaching effectiveness, and expect it would be helpful to the future development of early childhood education.
