The acquired data from questionnaire shall be analyzed by t-test, descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA and Scheffé method, and analysis of correlation. Findings of the study are as follows: I. The using condition on facebook of the 5th and 6th grade students in Taichung City 1. The using condition on facebook of the 5th and 6th grade students in elementary school in Taichung City was mostly to use chat room, leave a message, get a message, press like, and enjoy movie. 2. The primary motivation of using facebook of the 5th and 6th grade students in elementary school in Taichung City was to contact with their friends. To pour out their heart out to online friend is the least important motivation. 3. The behavior and motivation of using facebook of the students are very close with different discipline method of the students’ parents. II. The difference of parent-child conflicts of the 5th and 6th grade students with the different background variables. 1. There were no serious conflict between parents and children of the 5th and 6th grade students in elementary school in Taichung City. Conflict between parents and children of the 5th and 6th grade students for academic achievement was easy to happen, but not too much conflict for children to make friend. 2. There was difference of parent-child conflicts of the 5th and 6th grade students with the different genders. 3. There was no difference of parent-child conflicts with different grade students. 4. There was difference of parent-child conflicts with different attitude of using facebook by parents. 5. There was difference of parent-child conflicts with different time to join a facebook member. 6. There was no difference of parent-child conflicts with different using frequency on facebook. 7. There was no difference of parent-child conflicts with different using time on facebook. 8. There was difference of parent-child conflicts with different using channel on facebook. 9. There was difference of parent-child conflicts between the different using facebook and the frequency of parent-child conflicts. 10.There was difference of parent-child conflicts with different discipline method executed by parents. III. The reaction of parents’ discipline method and parent-child conflicts have negative correlation. Findings of questionnaire and conclusions of the study are proposed for educational administration organs, school teachers, parents of students for reference.
