Water resources are not distributed uniformly in time and space, and it’s difficult to keep the enough water depth of eco-ponds depending only by rainfall. Accordingly, the most of eco-pond and artificial wetlands are designed as “water purification in sunny and storing flood in rainy” in Taiwan. In this study, the eco-pond, Xuesi Pool, in Feng Chia University campus is selected as the study case. The physical and chemical effects in water throughout nine aquatic plants and increase aeration barrel are the primary experiment methods. The pH, ammonia, temperature, suspended solids, dissolved oxygen, biochemical oxygen demand, conductivity, turbidity are the observation parameters of water quality. The removal on ammonia concentration of the nine experiment plants are more than 60%, and the best removal effectiveness is 93% for water hyacinth plants. Hui-chen Su 蘇惠珍 2015 學位論文 ; thesis 103 zh-TW
