Therefore, the problem of how to enhance heat transfer in tube flow is getting more intention in these days. The present study is using numerical method to investigate the forced convection heat transfer behaviors of nanofluid fluid flow in a wavy round tube. The simulation was performed using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software, FLUENT. Numerical simulations were performed under different concentration of the nanofluid (ϕ=0%、1%、4%), the amplitude ratio (A/R=0.1、0.2、0.3、0.4) and the wave number (4、6、8、10) of the wave tube. It was observed from the simulation results that the heat transfer behavior was significant enhanced by using nanofluid than using pure water in the straight round tube; however, the enhancement was not obvious in the wavy tube. The heat transfer behavior was improved for greater amplitude ratios; and had the better effect as the wave number was around 4 to 6.
