Furthermore, the structure can be applied to cardboard boxesand gift boxes. In design, the structure can be insulated against heat, keep the temperature,avoid the vibration, prolong the freshness of the food and prevent the damp of the cardboardbox. In addition, the appearance of the structure can be designed with a variety of colors andpatterns so as to add the visual effect to the container. What’s better, the multi-functional design also facilitates the storage of the container. The research aims to examine the effectiveness and freshness by comparing the regular cardboard box with the cardboard box ofthis structure on condition that the object, the time and the environment are the same. TakeGilado ice cream for example. The research indicates that in the beginning, the temperatureof the ice cream shows -20℃. 90 minutes later, it drops to 0℃ in the regular cardboard box.However, the container with multi-functional complex structure enables the ice cream to keepat -13.4℃. Therefore, in terms of temperature, there is a gap for 13.4℃. Furthermore, the icecream in the regular cardboard box melts after 10 to 20 minutes. However, the cardboard box with multi-functional complex structure slows down the melting speed for 2 to 3 hours.Therefore, this multi-functional complex structure can effectively help slow down the meltingspeed of the ice cream. For frozen fish or meat, this structure can help to maintain thetemperature up to 6 hours. As to other frozen food, this structure can also help to keep thetemperature by 5 times. Therefore, the multi-functional complex structure applied in thecardboard box can not only prolong the time of freshness but also make the containerattractive in appearance, having more advantages than the regular cardboard box.
