Therefore, there are different kinds of fitness equipments in the market. These can satisfy people who are busy to want to keep the regular habit of exercise. Nowadays, home fitness equipments can divide into two categories: passive mode (eg: horse riding exercise machines) and active mode (eg: stationary bikes). The fundamental operation of a horse riding exercise machine is that the mechanicals shake back and forth. If people use it carelessly, they will be easy to cause sports injuries like spinal-cord injury and hip pain. It not only cost dearly but also has limitation on promoting cardiopulmonary function and weight control. In contrast, a stationary bike is good for training cardiopulmonary function. But the major duration of exercise and slow down the speed of riding stationary bikes. Both of them will greatly reduce the effects of sports.The main purpose of this study is to design a fitness equipment which can improve above-mentioned disadvantages and to achieve the best effect in the short time. The study subverts the traditional sport mode. It provides a passive fitness equipment that can keep users’heart beats rhythm in designated range when people use it. The hardware structure of the study mainly used Arduino Embedded Components to strengthen the fitness equipment. Users will not ride bikes exertively. All you have to do is get on the bikes, tie up the heart rate monitor and turn on the power. According to user’s physical situation, the fitness equipment will automatically operate and indicate the bike pedal. At the same time, it can avoid excessive exercise causing sports injuries or won’t waste too much time because of lacking exercise.
