Description
Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 資訊工程學系碩士班 === 103 === Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is a sleep disorder. Sleep surgery offers alternative way for the treatment of patients with servere OSA to solve the disease and poor sleep quality problems. Surgical treatment usually needs different kind of examinations and medical imaging to provide a complete treatment evaluation. This work presents an airway evaluation system that uses active contour model to construct the upper airway 3D model from three-dimensional computed tomography images. The model then used to extract the airway features of upper airway volume, lateral diameter, restenosis rate, and uvula for clinicians. Experimental results indicate that the system can established the upper airway model of OSA patients for upper airway treatment evaluation.
