It is not an exception inside the travel industry, in which the large amounts of data from customers can help them better identify their market and offer better products and prices. In the tour guide sector of the industry, more precisely, Big Data and Data mining have huge potential commercial applications, which are not only beneficial for these companies, but also for the tourists. The aim of this report is identifying these potential uses for Big Data within the travel industry, hand to hand with RFID technology.
