Summary:碩士 === 華梵大學 === 工業設計學系碩士班 === 103 === Study takes action research approach and leverage widely adopted creativity technique in Industrial Design Industry - Bionics Design when development visual art curriculum, explore the impact to creativity of senior grade students. Action research plan was developed after bibliography study and combined with the observation and records collected at class. A total of 14 classes process in 7 weeks, two of 40 minutes classes for each week. The study group use equivalent pretest-posttest and quasi-experimental design, a total of 27 students from a New Taipei City elementary school were invited as participants in this study. Student creativity performance is verified in quantitative index supplemented by qualitative description to estimate pretest-posttest differences. Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking (Figural A and B) were applied to this study before and after curriculum and outcome data were analyzed with Paired Sample T test statistical analysis method. The findings of this study are as follows: (1)Bionic Design technique is suitable for Visual Art Curriculum at elementary school. Guiding student from mapping nature visual concept to physical entity shorten the learning curve of the technique.(2)Using Bionic Design technique designed curriculum to increase creativity performance of senior grade students show strong effectiveness. The scale of Originality, Abstractness of Titles, Elaboration, Resistance to Premature Closure and The creative strengths increase significantly, while Fluency increased less significantly. Observing heterogeneous and novelty ideas show student increased ability of knowing, considering and open minding to environment.(3)Elementary students keep positive learning attitude to curriculum with Bionic Design technique designed. Using Bionic Design technique in Visual Art Curriculum design can increase student creativity, imagination, ability of problem solving and knowledge of design. The conclusion and recommendations this study puts forth hope to contribute to future teaching and research efforts on Bionics Design applying to senior grade elementary school Visual Art Curriculum.
