Description
Summary:碩士 === 景文科技大學 === 旅遊管理系觀光與餐旅管理碩士班 === 103 === The major object of the study is to find out how teachers’ individual personality trait and work stress influence their sense of well-being, and to discuss the moderators of leisure participation on teachers’ individual personality trait, work stress and their sense of well-being. The subjects of the study are the teachers from 11 public and private junior high schools in New Taipei City. The survey was conducted by convenience sampling method in March 2015. A total of 424 questionnaires were retrieved, wherein 406 of them were valid, after removing 18 invalid or incomplete copies. Correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis were utilized in this study. The result shows that among the factors relating to teachers’ work stress, “intrinsic effort” and “reward” both has significant influence on their sense of well-being. The interaction between “leisure participation” and the factor “extrinsic effort” that related to teachers’ work stress also has significant influence on their sense of well-being. Among the factors relating to teachers’ individual personality traits, “extraversion”, ”emotional stability” and ”conscientiousness” are the factors that significantly influence the teachers’ sense of well-being. And the interaction between “leisure participation” and personality traits, however, has no significant influence on the teachers’ sense of well-being. Overall, conclusions were drawn and substantial suggestions were proposed based on the study results. The results of the study may serve as reference for psychological counseling of teachers’ physical and mental health, and improvement of their life quality.
