Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立金門大學 === 管理學院事業經營碩士在職專班運動休閒組 === 103 === The target respondents of the study are the bicycle riders in Kinmen. The study aims to explore the relationship among specialization, place attachment and setting attributes preferences. There are 385 effective samples in total. The data collected were analyzed through item analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive analysis, T-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, stepwise multiple regression analysis, importance-performance analysis (IPA). According to the results, the majority of respondents are nearly equal between male and female, married, 30-49 years old, employee from service industries, have average monthly salary around TWD$ 20,000-40,000. In addition, 59.5% of respondents are local residents, and 79.5% of the respondents are not in the club. The results also show that the higher score at specialization cognition dimension, the more attention bicycle riders have toward the environment, such as the natural ecology, cultural history, the battlefield sites and fresh air, etc; the higher score at specialization emotion dimension, the more attention bicycle riders have toward socializing with people, sharing experience, etc. Bicycle riders with higher specialization score, have more identification either functional or emotional. When the functional identification is enhanced, the bicycle riders will have more emotional identification to the familiar riding environment. But if the environment couldn’t provide functional resource, the attachment will get lower. Therefore, if the managing agency could keep the facilities in a good condition, the functional need of bicycle riders will get satisfied, the level of place dependence will be enhanced as well. Besides, if the setting attributes is enhanced, such as friendly people, having more chances to socialize with people and sharing riding experience, then the bicycle riders will have higher place identification. Also, IPA analysis results show that there were two items had high importance but low satisfaction: adequate signs on the bicycle paths and adequate lighting at night. The study verified the theoretical framework among specialization, setting attributes preferences and place attachment. The findings provide managing agency in the bicycle path planning and further research.
