If you can use a single-stage power converter and provide two different frequency AC power at the same time, it will improve the flexibility of application for power converter. This thesis develops a bi-directional 60Hz-400Hz medium frequency power converter, its circuit architecture consists of a single-stage power converter as a major converter, a DC port, 60Hz AC port and a 400Hz medium frequency port. The digital signal processor TMS320F28035PN is used to control the system.
