After several years, Taiwan owns different races and cultural development, accumulated with a rich diversity of historic buildings and monuments as well as other cultural assets of the settlement.The reuse of the historic sites has become the main trend in Taiwan's cultural policies.Cishan Living Cultural Park is a great historical building. After the development of the Cishan Living Cultural Park, there are only a few relevant literatures. The main purpose of this study is to use the Cishan living cultural park as a case study to explore Cishan life issues and opportunities to be the cultural park. Through literature analysis and participant observation, operating status of reusing of the historic sites in the life and culture park monuments in Cishan is understood. Besides, through in-depth interviews and comparing the cases in the related studies, it is expected to re-use and promote the park, reusing of the historic site and cultural tourism and objectively face the opportunity and the problems, and finally analyze and investigate the current status of operations.This study will be a reference to provide future direction to improve the living cultural park, to achieve the reusing of the historic sites in the sustainable development..This study will be a reference to provide future direction to improve the living cultural park, to achieve the reusing of the historic sites in the sustainable development. The results showed that the local organizations realized the actual situation more would achieve ideal efficiency through a combination of cultural values of historical sites.The park still faces some problems needed to be improved in the business, the following recommendations are proposed based on the related analysis conclusion: (i) continuously preserving the value of historical and cultural space; (ii) emphasizing the local culture integration and the public participation of the community residents; (iii) strengthening links with the public sector and consensus; (iv) in financial affairs, independent operations are the trend; and (v) strengthening the links of the surrounding field.
